I spent several hours updating the “Cell” bible last night for our Art Department. I’ll be meeting with them tomorrow to go over a LOT of detail. Production Design for “Cell” is on the verge of being amazing. I wish I had a bigger budget for it but I guess we’ll all just have to be creative with what we have. We already have some great ideas for working it in post. I just want to get as much practical on set as we can. I still have several hours of work to do on the bible to get it where I want it, but it’s fun work at least.

Our cast is a busy bunch of beavers. They all have projects they’ve either just wrapped on or working on as well.

Danny has a film that should be hitting cable TV in the US soon called “Chrysalis.” I’m planning on talking to him at length about that one soon so we can have a more thorough post on it.

Allison is VERY busy. She’s a tarot reader in a short from Carl David Blake Productions called “Differences Between Men and Women.” She’s also playing Odessa in a short called “Odessa” from Native Speaker Productions. As soon as I can get some links I’ll shoot them out there as well.

I also found a tweet from one of my favorite in the Twitterverse, @Gennefer. I checked out “Riese: The Series” (@RiesetheSeries) and I’m intrigued. I’m really looking forward to seeing this one premiere. It’s a web series that clearly has some significant financial backing. Well I say clearly but it really just appears that way. They may just be VERY resourceful. Regardless it looks like some serious work to make a high-quality genre web series. That’s exactly the kind of thing we need more of if more people are going to see web series as a viable distribution model for high-quality content. Keep up the good work guys. I know I’ll be watching.

By the way.. our event on the 23rd now has an official name. “Music for Moving Media.” We’ll start preselling tickets soon. As soon as we finalize just how big Maggie Mae’s will let us  be. Tickets should be $15 at the door. $12 in advance sales. I’ll be keeping you posted.
