Never understood the expression, keeping your eyes peeled…..Anyways. This week will be a busy one for everyone. The clock’s ticking and time’s speeding up before we begin our first day of production. Right now, the big push is to promote our Music for Motion Media event. I’ve sent emails to everyone I know who runs a networking group or have done fundraising themselves. So far, a lot of the networking groups don’t have any problems letting their members know what’s coming up, which is great. Still haven’t heard from a few of them, but I’m staying positive. If any of you have any idea of other forums that you think would have a great response, I’m all ears.

I can’t even begin to tell you how freecycle has helped me get the necessary supplies needed. I joined and posted that I needed to get blankets (for sound issues at our location) and within 5 hours, I got people emailing me saying that they had blankets that I could come by and get. It’s not like on craigslist where you are competing with other people for the same supplies. These people were donating specifically for me. I’ve already collected seven blankets and a few are very large. It’s been a god-send.

Still searching for materials for our set and that is something we’ll probably have to do until the last minute before construction. Such is the life in pre-production. Still, we’ve got a lot of things we’ve needed already and that’s great. In many ways, we are ahead of the curve!
