The launch of our new domain has arrived!

Lovable Varmint Productions has just hit the interwebs. And none too soon. We’ve got a lot going on to talk about over the next few days, weeks and months. Here’s a look at some of the highlights

• We’re in pre-production for our first web series “Cell.”  Auditions are starting Thursday and running through Saturday. We’ll be looking at about 65 actors as well as receiving video submissions.
• We’re still working on finishing up our crew for production.
• Near the end of September we’ll be hosting an event with the Austin School of Film to help raise awareness and funds for ASoF as well as introduce Lovable Varmint to the film community.
• At the end of September and for two weeks in October we’ll start principal photography on “Cell.” We’ll be filming for 12 days in Smithville, Texas and around the Austin, area. We only need one more location to finalize.
• The Austin Film Festival starts just as we wrap photography and we hope to use that as a launch pad for Lovable Varmint and “Cell.”

And that’s just part of the excitement. We’ll keep posting here as we progress so that you can follow along. We’ll make some new friends and hopefully point you to some new shows you may not have seen yet.
